An Open Letter to Banquet Foods...

Dear Banquet Homestyle Bakes team.
We recently purchased 2 of your products the dumplings and chicken, we tried first tonight. There was so much salt in the dish that we could not even finish it and I had to thaw out fish sticks and toss the whole thing. I am disappointed and am worried about even trying the fried rice. The UPC on the box is ***********. My hope is this is a bad batch but I am going to post on my blog to be worried and maybe add water, I added a half a can even without the box saying so and I am sure it could have used more. I believe I am fair in my assessment and will gladly post your return as well in hope that this is an error and these dinners are better than the current one we've tried.
thanks so much,

I cannot tell you how salty this was, it was horrible. I am so disappointed, it cooked in 15 minutes and would have been a great easy dinner... I'll let you know what they say... I guess I need to pay more attention to Sodium on the boxes.. this was 1540!!! WTH, am I in need of a salt lick?
sigh...

Happy New Year!

My parents used to eat frozen foods when they got older. I really believe that the high sodium content contributed to my Dad's stroke. Nasty stuff! Hope you have a great start to 2009. Happy New Year!
